Meet Dr. Deniz

Dr. Meltem Deniz earned her dental degree ( D.M.D.) from the University of Istanbul.  She then proceeded to the University of Nebraska Medical Center earning her Master of Science degree in Dentistry in 1993.  After several years of Private Practice, Dr. Deniz obtained her specialized Temporomandibular Joint Disorders [TMJ] and Orofacial Pain training at University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.  Here, she also attained a two-year postdoctoral position in pain research.  During her residencies and internships, Dr. Deniz received advanced training in prosthodontics (crowns and dentures), implants, cleft palate, dental research, pain management and general dentistry. 

Dr. Deniz is an initiatory member of American Academy of Orofacial Pain, member of American Headache Society, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Central Coast Dental Society.  At Turquoise Dental Care TMJ & Orofacial Pain Clinic, she is pleased to serve the community with different aspects of dentistry.
